Branch Line to Lambourn
by Vic Mitchell, Keith Smith & Kevin Robertson
This quiet rural branch was initially run by a local company using continental -style open verandah coaches. They are illustrated as are the pioneer diesel railcars that the GWR employed to effect economies. Ironically, steam reigned supreme at the end, as can be seen in many fresh views of this much admired route.
