Country Railway Routes
Uttoxeter to Macclesfield
by Vic Mitchell
This pleasant route was built through attractive scenery and soon carried many tourists. The revived sections do so again today. Mineral traffic also became very important and varied. All these aspects are extensively illustrated in this album.
'There is a good mixture of images, not just three-quarters front views of locos, but many showing stations and landscape.... Will be of great interest to those who remember north Staffordshire and south Chesire.'
(NRM Review, Autumn 2017)
'This book covers a fascinating route with plenty of interest and it is an ideal source of information for anyone modelling part of the North Staffordshire Railway.'
(Model Railway Express eMagazine, Issue four: June/July 2017)
'Of value to enhusiasts with an interest in the geographical area or to add to their collection.'
(The Railway Observer, Vol.87, No.1062, August 2017)
