The northern routes served Seaforth, Litherland, Aintree, Fazakerley, Bootle and Walton faithfully for many decades. The trams conveyed dockers, office workers, shoppers, school pupils, football fans, racegoers and many others with great reliability. These diverse activities and a multitude of street scenes bring variety to the pages of this album, which completes a trilogy on an aspect of Liverpool's past.
