From Dentistry to Steam - Vic Mitchell talk

On Saturday 14th January 2017, Vic Mitchell will be talking about the growth of Middleton Press in Petersfield, Hampshire.

Vic was in dental practice in Station Road, Petersfield in 1974-86. In 1981, he wrote Branch Lines to Midhurst, which featured Petersfield and is still selling well now.

Upon retirement from dentistry, he went on to expand his railway series and has compiled around 500 railway albums to date.

Talk will be held in the Physic Garden Room, 16 High Street, Petersfield at 7.0pm. There is no entry charge, but donations towards the Ffestiniog Railway are welcome. Vic was one of the founders of its revival scheme - the first in Britain.
